Lochead Chalets are attractively positioned and perfect for young families or couples.
There are 3 Lochead Chalets and they each have 2 bedrooms – 1 double and 1 bunk room (full sized single bunks). There is a shower room and a comfortable living room with kitchenette off. The large windows in the living room give plenty of opportunities to watch the wildlife and enjoy the views. There is a large verandah out the front and outdoor seating.
The Lochead Chalets are situated at the mouth of the Lochead Burn, popular with anglers – permits to catch sea trout are available at the office.
The Lochead Chalets have uninterrupted views right up and across Loch Caolisport.
The Lodge is a traditional cottage situated at the head of Loch Caolisport, which sits in a large fenced garden.
Lochead Cottage is situated next to The Lodge, overlooking the head of the loch, and the mouth of the Lochead Burn.
Baliemore is a carefully renovated cottage, set by itself. For those who enjoy walking or watching wildlife, you can take a walk along the hill road.
Beautiful scenery. This is a get away from it all break and just enjoy the peaceful surrounding everywhere you go. We stayed the first week in Aug as a family of 4 and we loved it. Would love to try one of the cottages on our next visit and hopefully not in a too distant future. The staff are kind and very helpful.
Just got back from an amazing week at Ellary, we stayed in one of the chalets which was well equipped with everything we needed for the week. The main reason we stayed here was the for the location and it did not disappoint! It was incredibly beautiful and we will definitely be returning! Very sad not to be waking up to the stunning sunrise. Thank you all at Ellary for our stay.
