The Turbine House was originally built to provide power to the estate. It was converted in 2008 and now provides a high standard of accommodation.
There are glass windows and multiple French doors along one side of the sitting room, giving the cottage a spacious feel and great views out to the deck area, burn and gardens. There is one double bedroom and a bathroom with walk in shower. The sitting room has a kitchen (with washing machine) and dining area.
The Turbine House is located a few hundred yards up the Ellary Burn from the shore, beside a beautiful stone bridge and is accessed by parking in a lay-by on the road and going through a gate down some steps to the cottage. Its location provides peace and tranquillity, and is an ideal retreat for couples.
The Turbine House is close to the harbour and is ideal for anyone with boats. Also close to the beach for the use of canoes and paddle boards.

Beautiful scenery. This is a get away from it all break and just enjoy the peaceful surrounding everywhere you go. We stayed the first week in Aug as a family of 4 and we loved it. Would love to try one of the cottages on our next visit and hopefully not in a too distant future. The staff are kind and very helpful.
Just got back from an amazing week at Ellary, we stayed in one of the chalets which was well equipped with everything we needed for the week. The main reason we stayed here was the for the location and it did not disappoint! It was incredibly beautiful and we will definitely be returning! Very sad not to be waking up to the stunning sunrise. Thank you all at Ellary for our stay.
